Our first thoroughbred horse was Dress Blues. She is a fabulous horse and was instrumental in getting me hooked on owning thoroughbred race horses. The first race she ran for us was a second place finish and I was elated.
She is now 9 years old and its time to give her a change. She is on her way to Kentucky where she will be bred. I know that she will be a wonderful mother. Although I will miss seeing her, I am so happy that she is on her way to a whole new wonderful life. I hope she will have babies that will make her happy. She will be well taken care of and should enjoy a fulfilled life.
Racing can be difficult for fillies and mares. It’s her time to relax and have a slower family life. Good luck sweet Dress Blues. Our hearts and prayers are always with you.
