Ready Set Go — Off to New Mexico

Having horses to share with others is an absolute delight.  My horses are thoroughbreds that race in Arizona, New Mexico and California.  Our home base is Turf Paradise in Phoenix, Arizona.  We are almost at the end of this years meet at Turf Paradise and so it’s on the road for my equine family.

Some of the horses have made their trip to Sunray Park in Farmington, NM. Our trainer, Drew Fulmer is quite versatile as he is not only our trainer and caretaker of our horses, he also does the hauling and everything else that goes along with setting things up for a new meet.  He will be at Sunray Park for the summer months.

These are pictures of some of the horses that will compete at Sunray.

Of course my favorite, Tonight at Eleven was among the first group of horses to travel and he will be running on Saturday. Tonight at Eleven is a 7 year old gelding out of Thunder Gulch and the morning line has him at 3-1 and he is the favorite. Sure hope they’re right!

A new addition to the family, Atticus Ghost is also entered to run on Saturday. Atticus Ghost is a 5 year old mare out of Atticus and the morning line on her is also 3-1. She is picked as the favorite in this 7 furlong race.

Another recent claim of Drew’s is Remus and he will be competing on Sunday. This is an older experienced 8 year old gelding out of Empire Maker with an impressive records. The morning line on him is 4-1. We are looking forward to Remus making a bold statement at Sunray.

Pursuxit and Canard are also entered to run at Sunray, so they are in the first bunch to travel to New Mexico.

Another horse that we recently reclaimed gets an early trip to New Mexico. He is Elusive Moment and we are hoping that he will be in the money soon.

Watch for us at Sunray Park in Farmington, New Mexico. Live racing at Sunray Park has already started and is scheduled to go through June 22nd. Keep your fingers crossed for us. As always, we need all the help in the luck department that we can get so we’re counting on your good karma.

I used to be part owner of Atticus Ghost and would love to hear her how she is doing, and any news about her. She is a very sweet girl…
    Thank you
